Menu: We make everything from aubergine bake to zucchini slices. Breakfast includes a brekky tart of egg, bacon, tomato and spinach, omelette, goat cheese and rocket piadina, home -made muesli with acai and local honey. To drink - DIY O.J. and teh full gamut of coffees from single origin, to mocha, soy and our famous strong coffee...it's my own Eugenius blend, a melange of Brazillian, Colombian and Costa Rican, all Arabica. It's a dark, rich roast. Currently, we also feature a delightful Vietnamese coffee - a smooth, mild blend with notes of chocolate,

Rubenesque Sandwich A speciality of Eugenius Cafe - a voluptous serve of roast beef, sauerkraut, gruyere cheese and hausgemacht dill pickle on toasted Rye bread. ("When you make a brown bread sandwich, stack the cold cuts high. You should be able to see the pastrami coming through the rye.')
Soups, salads, and for dessert, cakes the likes of which you will never forget. when Marie Antoinette said 'let them eat cake,' she surely was thinking of Eugenius' flourless chocolate cake with raspberry ganache!

Where: Eugenius cafe is located on the ground floor of Eugenius in the heart of Prahran, close to Chapel St., on the corner of High St. and Hornby St.(entrance from Hornby St.) diagonally across the road from Centrelink, behind 4M and opposite the Prahran Club. Parking is available on High St. or else take tram number 6 from Swanston St. in the CBD and get off at stop 32 (first stop past Chapel St.) Prahran and Windsor railway stations are close by. Better still walk.

When: Eugenius cafe is open Monday to Sunday from 8am till about 4pm.
